       We all hear expressions like “face cord,” “rack,” and “pickup load” when dealing with firewood.  Let’s set the record straight.  The ONLY legal measurement for firewood is a cord, or portion of a cord.

 

A cord of firewood is a stacked pile measuring 4’ x 4’ x 8’ or 128 cubic feet.

     

Our customers are assured of getting the correct amount of wood since we stack and measure each and every load prior to pickup or delivery.  Mulch King’s firewood is seasoned, cut to an average of 19 inches and split.  We are kind to the environment, all of our firewood is a result of trees which were cut for other purposes . . . Meaning the trees were cut down for another reason, not just to make firewood.
